The CBP Aircraft Mechanic performs maintenance, overhaul, repair, inspection, and aircraft servicing functions on assigned aircraft within an aircraft maintenance and operations environment and in accordance with applicable instructions. 

 Principal Accountabilities:

The CH-47 Aircraft Mechanic II performs the full range of military tactical aircraft maintenance and maintains repairs and troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, pneudraulic, engines, auxiliary power unit, and ventilation and heating systems.

The C-12/ UC-35 Army Transport Aircraft Mechanic (FAA AP) Services, repairs and overhauls assigned aircraft and subsystems to ensure airworthiness. Uses technical data to troubleshoot malfunctioning systems and repairs or replaces faulty components.

The C-12 King Air OR UC-35 Cessna Citation Army Transport Aircraft Mechanic (FAA AP) Services, repairs and overhauls assigned aircraft and subsystems to ensure airworthiness. Uses technical data to troubleshoot malfunctioning systems and repairs or replaces faulty components.

THIS POSITION ONLY APPLIES FOR COLOMBIAN NATIONALSTechnical degree in aviation maintenance from an accredited civilian or military institution.o Minimum of 10 years’ hands-on experience in aviation maintenance plus a minimum 5years’ experience in respective aircraft.o Must have a current TLH or TLA Colombian license, or equivalent U.S.

The Aircraft Mechanic I (UH-60 Mechanic Specialty) troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, pneudraulic, engines, auxiliary power unit, and ventilation and heating systems. 

The C-26 Army Transport Aircraft FSR / Lead Mechanic/ Trainer - oversees, and coordinates established training on behalf of the recently relocated C26 aircraft in Djibouti. Provides organizational training activities to ensure the mechanics, develop and conduct maintenance according to the C-26 OEM maintenance manual.

The successful Aircraft Mechanic-Avionics performs organizational, intermediate and limited depot level maintenance to include inspection, operational test, repair, modification and troubleshooting on all assigned aircraft, components and equipment.
