The Aircraft Mechanic performs organizational and intermediate level maintenance on C-26 aircraft. Is responsible for servicing, launch and recovery, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying aircraft systems to ensure continued airworthiness. These tasks are performed on avionics and electrical systems, environmental systems, engines, flight controls, and airframe components.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSTHE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, THE FOLLOWING DUTIES. ADDITIONAL ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS MAY BE IDENTIFIED BY THE ORGANIZATION AND LISTED AS SUCH IN THE INCUMBENTS PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL ELEMENTS. VARIOUS TASKS MAY BE ASSIGNED UNDER EACH ESSENTIAL FUNCTION.

Education: High School diploma or GED. Commercial derivative aircraft require AP certification.Experience: Relevant aircraft maintenance repair, inspection, modification, and flight-line operations performance within NAVAIRINST 3710.1(series) or CNAFINST 4790.2 (series) equivalent maintenance systems (not required with Trade, AP, FAA Certification).
