AFRA Welcomes StandardAero as New Member

The Aircraft Fleet Recycling Association (AFRA) welcomes StandardAero as the newest member of its global network dedicated to advancing sustainable solutions in aviation.
An independent provider of engine maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services, StandardAero brings decades of expertise in servicing some of the most widely used aircraft powerplants. With operations spanning commercial, business, military, and helicopter aviation, the company plays a pivotal role in ensuring efficiency and sustainability throughout an engine’s lifecycle.
“StandardAero’s deep knowledge of aviation engines and engine disassembly is a valuable addition to AFRA’s efforts in promoting responsible aircraft end-of-service management,” says AFRA president, Brent Webb. “Their expertise strengthens our collective ability to develop best management practices (BMP) that optimize sustainability and material recovery in the industry.”
As AFRA continues to drive advancements in sustainable aircraft and component recycling through research, industry partnerships, and policy initiatives, StandardAero’s membership reinforces the association’s commitment to leveraging industry-leading knowledge to maximize the value and environmental responsibility of aircraft engine disassembly.
