In this role, you’ll perform advanced inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs to keep AH-64D/E helicopters mission-ready. This is a long-term career opportunity with excellent pay progression, full benefits, and opportunities for advancement.Responsibilities • Perform field and sustainment-level maintenance on AH-64D/E helicopters • Inspect, repair, and modify structural, engine, flight control, hydraulic, fuel, and electrical systems • Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and avionics issues using manuals and test equipment • Use specialized tools including torque wrenches, cable tensiometers, micrometers, and diagnostic gear • Conduct functional checks, engine run-ups, and taxi operations when required • Accurately document maintenance actions in compliance with military and FAA standards • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior mechanics and technicians • Perform corrosion control, preservation, and touch-up painting • Support ground support equipment maintenance and aircraft recovery operationsQualifications • Required: 4+ years of aircraft maintenance experience • Required: Experience with AH-64D/E Apache helicopters (any timeframe) • Preferred: FAA Airframe Powerplant (A P) license *not required* • Must be re-hire eligible if previously employed at Fort RuckerWhy Work Here? • Starting Base Pay: $33.10/hour • Pay Differentials: +$1/hr for 2nd shift, +$1.50/hr for 3rd shift, +$3/hr for odd work weeks • Certification Pay: Additional pay for A P certification and APU runs • Wage Progression: Opportunity to earn $45–$50/hour within 5 years • Benefits Package: • $2/hr 401(k) company contribution • Union pension fund • Health savings plan • 10 paid holidays + 2 weeks of vacation (starting accruing on day 1) • Raises: Guaranteed 2 pay increases annually • Tools Equipment: Work with state-of-the-art equipment in a professional, collaborative environmentSchedule Work Environment • Structured, consistent shifts with premium pay for nights and weekends • Aircraft hangar setting with all tools provided • Supportive environment focused on growth and safetyIf interested, please apply or reach out to Kaitlin Healy at 843/830/9386Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $68848.00 - $68848.00/yr.2nd shift: $1/hr3rd shift: $1.50/hrOdd Work Wee (ie, Thursday - Monday) $3/hrA P: $1.50/hrAPU Run ($1/run)401K- contributes $2/hr2 pay raises per year- Wage progression will get them between $45-50/hr within 5 years13 paid holidays2 weeks vacation (starts accruing on day one)Union Pension FundHealth Savings PlanWorkplace TypeThis is a fully onsite position in Fort Rucker,AL.Application DeadlineThis position is anticipated to close on Sep 19, 2025.
