Silver Airways is hiring AMTs in sunny Orlando!We are hiring experienced and certified AMTs to be a part of the Silver family. Silver Airways currently provides more routes within Florida and to the Caribbean than any other regional airline and we need your help to keep our fleet running smoothly as we expand! The AMT (A P Technician) accomplishes maintenance checks, up to and including line service checks, along with non-routine heavy maintenance. Day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoots and repairs aircraft systems, engine, electrical and avionics malfunctions
  • Completes logbooks, non-routine work cards and documents in accordance with General Maintenance Manual
  • Accomplishes minor structural and composite material repairs
  • Reports to shift supervisor for work and assignments
  • Must be able to read and interpret Maintenance Manual, Illustrated Parts Catalog, Structural Repair and Wiring
  • Must be able to use Diagrams System Schematics, and use ATA codes
  • Must have own tools
  • Must be computer literate
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, shifts and days off
  • Must be willing to work days, nights, and holidays; may require overtime
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship
  • Must be able to pass a Drug and Alcohol Screen, FBI Fingerprint, 10 Year Criminal Background Check
  • Must own a current U.S. Passport or equivalent with applicable visas
  • Conduct other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

  • A P Certificate required
  • Minimum two (2) years experience maintaining ATR or equivalent aircraft experience required
  • Avionics and/or structures experience preferred
