The Aircraft Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing high-quality routine and non-routine maintenance for various types of aircraft. This role requires a thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems, a high degree of technical competence, and excellent attention to detail.
Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft systems to detect wear, defects, and other issues
  • Perform routine and non-routine maintenance tasks according to regulations and safety procedures
  • Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in aircraft systems and components
  • Document all maintenance and repair work in accordance with FAA regulations
  • Maintain clean and safe work areas
  • Cooperate and communicate effectively with other team members

Qualifications:

  • A valid A P license is required
  • Experience in relevant aircraft maintenance and repair
  • In-depth knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work well in a team and maintain professionalism under pressure
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training is a plus

Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour (Highly experienced candidates could warrant higher pay)

  • Baton Rouge, LA 70807: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • Aircraft maintenance: 2 years on reciprocating powered or corporate jet. (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Airframe Powerplant License (Required)
