Job Title: Aircraft Sheet Metal MechanicJob DescriptionJoin our team as an Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanic, where you will be part of a skilled group dedicated to repair and modification projects within our repair station. This role involves sheet metal fabrication, assembly, installations, and modifications. The project is expected to last over a year, offering stability and the opportunity to contribute to high-quality aviation work.Responsibilities

  • Perform sheet metal fabrication, assembly, installations, and modifications on aircraft.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
  • Utilize hand and power tools efficiently for sheet metal tasks.
  • Inventory and maintain personal tools, ensuring they are etched and ready for use.
  • Engage in structural modifications on various aircraft types including commercial, regional jets, helicopters, and corporate jets.

Essential Skills

  • 3-5+ years of experience in Aircraft Sheet Metal/Structures.
  • Proficiency in sheet metal fabrication, assembly, installation, and modification.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Experience with various aircraft types and sheet metal processes.
  • Ownership of personal tools that are etched and inventoried.

Additional Skills Qualifications

  • Experience working in MRO and Repair Stations.
  • Familiarity with P145 and P121 standards.
  • Knowledge of rivet and sheet metal techniques.

Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with opportunities for overtime.Job Type LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, Pennsylvania.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
