Position Summary * In this role, you will apply your expertise in aircraft structures to inspect, repair, and modify sheet metal components with precision and efficiency. You will work primarily on CRJ200 and King Air 200 platforms, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and company standards while delivering high-quality craftsmanship that supports safe and reliable flight operations. Education and Qualifications(Required) * Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent. * Must have a minimum of 3 years of recent experience in aviation sheet metal work. * Must have experience with CRJ or King Air aircraft (CRJ200 and King Air 200 preferred). * Must be proficient in aircraft structural repairs, riveting, and metal fabrication. * Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints, aircraft manuals, and FAA documentation. * Must be familiar with aircraft materials, including aluminum alloys and composites. * Must have a personal set of tools. * Must demonstrate strong attention to detail and craftsmanship. * Must be able to work independently or as part of a team. * Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. * Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in tight or elevated spaces. Preferred Qualifications * Will have a valid AP License. * Will have experience with general aviation aircraft structures (Cessna, Piper, etc.). * Will have knowledge of corrosion control and structural inspection techniques. Job Duties/Functions * Will perform inspections and evaluate structural damage on aircraft to determine the best repair methods. * Will fabricate, repair, and install sheet metal parts using hand tools, power tools, and metalworking machinery. * Will read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and FAA repair documents. * Will ensure compliance with all FAA regulations and company procedures. * Will utilize precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.) to ensure accuracy of repairs and alignments. * Will remove, replace, or repair aircraft skin, frames, bulkheads, and other structural components. * Will document all work performed in maintenance logs and reports. * Will maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
