Airforms, Inc. Awarded FAA PMA Approval for C208/208B Crew Ladder Components

Airforms, Inc. announces it has been awarded FAA PMA approvals for a number of the components for its C208/208B Crew Ladder Assembly. The Airforms components are direct replacements for the OEM parts and are interchangeable with the parts in the original ladder assemblies.

Available parts include left-hand and right-hand upper and lower arm assemblies; upper and lower step assemblies; bracket assemblies; spacers; and replacement tread for the steps. 

The ladder components have a superior service life. They are made from aluminum and primed for finish paint which eliminates exposure to moisture and prevents corrosion. In addition, Airforms designed the ladder-arm pivot points with bushings made from a non-corroding alloy to prevent the intergranular corrosion that is caused by contact between dissimilar metals and the introduction of moisture. The result is superior corrosion-protection and longer-lasting components.

All of the crew ladder components are value-priced at a fraction of the cost of their OEM counterparts and are in stock, ready to ship.
