All West Star Aviation Satellite Locations Awarded FAA Diamond Award of Excellence

West Star Aviation announces it has been awarded the 2021 FAA Diamond Award of Excellence for completing specialized training pertaining to aviation maintenance, safety and FAA rules at all five of its satellite facilities located in Denver, CO (APA); Chicago, IL (PWK); Houston, TX (CXO); Minneapolis, MN (MSP); and Aspen, CO (ASE). This is the first year of accomplishment for four of the locations (ASE, PWK, CXO and MSP) and the third year in a row APA has been awarded the prestigious honor.

The FAA Diamond Award is the highest aviation honor in the aircraft-maintenance industry, and West Star is proud to be recognized for its continued commitment to aviation maintenance excellence. The rigorous 12-month program requires 100% participation from all eligible technicians, who continue to provide dedicated maintenance to customers along with maintaining a structured safety-training program. Each team member (978) completed the year-long program, qualifying the entire enterprise of receiving the Diamond Award at all nine locations — the first in the company’s history.
