AOne Parts & Logistics announces that Marcus Cortez will be joining the global service and support provider in the newly created position of "continuous improvement commander.”

Cortez has been working in the aviation industry for over twenty-seven years. During this time, he has had experience in various roles with airlines, MROs and parts-distribution organizations. Management roles in inventory control, logistics, operations, purchasing and quality have provided a wide scope of knowledge and appreciation for the requirements of the industry.

“I have had the good fortune of working with both Jack Caloras and Kirk Meissner, and knowing the level of commitment and drive they both have at succeeding and demanding a high level of excellence made my choice to be part of the AOne team an easy one,” says Cortez when asked about joining AOne. “The culture of AOne resonates of 'continuous improvement.' My most recent quality roles align very clearly with where and what this company is doing today and will continue doing in the future.”

“Expectations are very high for both Marcus and AOne, with him coming onboard," says Jack Caloras, a partner at the company. "We have worked together in the past, and our ethos function well together, which should benefit AOne and our clients moving forward."

Cortez is anxious to learn and become a valuable member of the AOne team. “My parents instilled a strong work ethic in me," he says, "and my journey has provided me with skills to help me pursue excellence.”

Family is extremely important to Cortez, a South Florida native son. He is happily married to his wife, Natalie, and they have three daughters ranging in age from 11 to 23. When he's not working, he enjoys a variety of hobbies, including mountain biking, racquetball and weightlifting. He also cherishes time with his family and friends at the beach.
