AOne Parts & Logistics Parting Out a Lear 45

AOne Parts & Logistics purchases a Learjet 45 airframe for purpose of dismantling and removing all components and material to be used for resale. The Lear 45 (45-207) is a non-incident-related airframe that went in for a scheduled maintenance event which was not completed. The decision was made that this Lear 45 would not fly again and that the engines and airframe could be repositioned and reutilized more effectively as a non-flyer.

“We are very excited about this project,” says Jack Caloras, president of AOne Parts & Logistics. “This company began operating earlier this year, and this is the first part-out for AOne.”

AOne is focusing on selling all parts and material from this project very quickly in a non-traditional manner, unlike common salvage-yard operations or aftermarket parts companies. “We view this as an opportunity for AOne, as well as anyone we work with interested in owning any Lear 45 articles.”

Vice president Kirk Meissner will be leading the project and coordinating sales efforts for all articles. “Our goal is to process the dismantling in an efficient manner so that parts will be available as soon as possible,” Meissner says.
