We are seeking a skilled Airframe Powerplant (A P) Mechanic with a drive to join our growing aviation services operation in beautiful Sedona, Arizona. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced mechanic who also has the vision, leadership, and passion to grow a business as an equity-holding partner.This role offers the best of both worlds: hands-on aircraft maintenance and strategic involvement in building and expanding a high-quality aviation maintenance service catering to general aviation customers in one of the most scenic flying destinations in the country.A P Mechanic Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on piston and light turbine aircraft.
  • Troubleshoot airframe, engine, electrical, and avionics systems.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with FAA regulations and company standards.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate maintenance records (logbooks, forms, work orders).
  • Order and manage parts, tools, and inventory as needed.

Starting hourly wage is highly dependent on experience (DOE).

Requirements: 
  • FAA A P Certification (Required)
  • 5+ years experience in general aviation maintenance (preferred)
  • IA certification a plus (but not required)
  • Avionics Knowledge (preferred)
  • Strong technical knowledge of piston aircraft (Cessna, Piper, Beechcraft, etc.)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in business operations and growth
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Willingness to relocate to or commute regularly to Sedona, AZ
