Job Title: A P MechanicJob DescriptionAs an Aircraft Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance on Citations, Beechcraft, King Airs, and Challengers, with a primary focus on Jet aircraft. Your role will involve inspecting, repairing, overhauling, upgrading, and cleaning aircraft. All tasks must be performed in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration regulations, aircraft manufacturers recommendations, and company policies and procedures. Detailed records concerning all work conducted, inspections performed, and safety compliance must be maintained.Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret technical data.
  • Make required work order entries for discrepancies and corrective actions.
  • Demonstrate mechanical ability to execute tasks according to technical data.
  • Identify parts and interpret IPC.
  • Remove and install aircraft panels.
  • Conduct basic operational and functional checks.
  • Provide nitrogen and oxygen servicing.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in aircraft maintenance, especially with Cessna, Citation, King Air, and Challenger.
  • Possession of an Airframe Mechanics Certificate.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate, commercial, or GA settings.
  • Proficiency with hand tools and ability to gather own tools.

Additional Skills Qualifications

  • Full A P License is a plus.
  • Experience with private jets is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with aircraft such as Beechcraft, Phenom, Hawker, Falcon, and Gulfstream is beneficial.

The hangar is heated during the winter, and you will rarely need to work outside. The position is a first shift role, operating Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, typically totaling 40 hours per week. Technicians are expected to bring their own hand tools, as no tool list is provided.Job Type LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greensboro, North Carolina.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
