A P MECHANIC for Military Support Operations - Fantastic Opportunity!
Looking to hire a licensed A P Mechanics to support a short-term contract for our fleet of Embraer and Short 312 (A-27) Tucano turboprop planes, on-site at Maxwell AFB in Montgomery, AL starting early June 2024 for about 8 weeks. Avionics experience on 1990's or older aircraft is preferred.
This position will also include daily line maintenance of turboprop, fixed-wing aircraft based in Alabama. Must be able to think on your feet, problem-solve situations as they arise, and work collaboratively and respectfully with Veterans and aircrew. Military background is helpful. PT6 experience preferred. Knowledge of ejection seat systems is helpful.
Job Type: Contractor
Pay: $28.00-35.00 depending on experience and relevance of the experience
Schedule:
- Starting early June 2024 for about 8 weeks
- Monday to Friday
- 8-hour shift
- Weekend availability
Work Location: In person, Maxwell AFB in Montgomery, AL
- FAA Airframe Powerplant License (A P)
- 2+ years of demonstrated experience as A P Mechanic
- Ability to pass a drug screening test
- Able to pass a background check
- Clean driving record and safe driving history
Experience:
- Aircraft maintenance: 2 years (Required)
- Avionics: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Airframe Powerplant License (Required)
