Job Title: Experienced AH-64 Aircraft MechanicJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled AH-64 Aircraft Mechanic to perform advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of AH-64D/E Apache helicopters. This role demands deep technical expertise in airframe systems, powerplants, hydraulics, pneumatics, and avionics, with a strong focus on safety, precision, and mission readiness.Job Type LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Fort Rucker, Alabama.Responsibilities

  • Conduct field and sustainment-level maintenance on AH-64D/E aircraft.
  • Inspect, repair, and modify structural components, flight controls, engines, and fuel systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues using technical manuals.
  • Utilize specialized tools including torque wrenches, cable tensiometers, micrometers, and test equipment.
  • Maintain accurate aircraft logs, records, and documentation in compliance with military and FAA standards.
  • Perform functional checks, engine run-ups, and taxi operations as required.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior mechanics and technicians.
  • Execute corrosion control, preservation, and touch-up painting.
  • Support aircraft recovery operations and ground support equipment maintenance.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with AH-64D or AH-64E Apache helicopters.
  • 4+ years of aircraft maintenance experience.
  • Proficient in airframe systems, powerplants, hydraulics, pneumatics, and avionics.

Additional Skills Qualifications

  • A P license preferred.
  • Experience at Ft. Rucker is acceptable if rehire-able.
  • Must not be a current employee at M1 Services at Ft. Rucker.
