Aeromaster Airways implements Q-Pulse for SMS

Sextant Readings Solutions Inc., the authorized re-seller of Q-Pulse® for the America’s Aviation Business announces that Aeromaster Airways S.A. has become the first South American aviation organization to adopt Q-Pulse® as the information foundation for their Safety Management System (SMS). Aeromaster Airways is a well-respected organization providing aviation support for the oil industry, mining and energy and is a Bell Helicopter Authorized Service Center. Based in Quito Ecuador, Aeromaster Airways required the integration of many sources of information to better manage its SMS. They selected Q-Pulse for its ease of use, tailored configuration and breadth of information collection, analysis and reporting capability. Well versed in quality (ISO9000 – 2008, ISO 14000 and OSHAS 18000 certified), Aeromaster Airways selected Q-Pulse as the foundation of their SMS and QMS initiatives.

Roberto Damone, CEO of Aeromaster Airways states: “Aeromaster Airways S.A. is proud and excited to be the first Q-Pulse client in South America. This software will be key for establishing more effective safety processes and for helping consolidate a Safety Culture within the company. The implementation of Q-Pulse at Aeromaster has been instrumental in displaying the intentions and commitment of our CEO and Management Team towards safety, and is also aligned with our corporate values of innovation and providing added value to our clients. The different Q-Pulse features hold the following benefits for us:

• Make management more aware of the organizational factors that pose a threat to safety in our daily operations.

• Serve as a catalyst for accountability throughout the company.

• Provide every employee with the capability to make a useful contribution to solving safety issues by allowing them to be truly proactive in identifying and reporting hazards.

• Provide an integrated view of how our different processes are interacting and impacting safety in a way that helps us easily assess risks, identify courses of action, guide control implementation efforts and communicate the achievements to all personnel.

In my position as general manager, the information gathered through Q-Pulse and its analysis capabilities allow me to make better judgments, priority assessments, and informed decisions.”
