Aspen and Avidyne Demonstrate DFC90 Autopilot Integration at Sun ‘n Fun

Aspen Avionics, manufacturer of the Evolution Flight Display, and Avidyne Corporation, a provider of integrated flight deck solutions, announce that certification is imminent for the interface between the Avidyne DFC90 Digital Autopilot and the Aspen Evolution Pro Primary Flight Display, and is expected in the next ninety days.

Initial certifications will be in Avidyne's Cessna 182 and in Aspen's Cirrus SR22, with additional plans to seek installation approval on the Beech Bonanza in second quarter of 2012.

The companies will also leverage Aspen's AML-STC of over 900 makes and models to certify the installation on a wider variety of platforms.
