Baker Aviation Expands Services – Named First Stocking Distributor for PMA Parts From Omega Aircraft Articles, LLC

Baker Aviation, a full service aircraft maintenance, management and charter company in North Texas, and Omega Aircraft Articles, LLC annoucne that Baker will be the first Omega distributor to stock an inventory of FAA approved Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA) parts for various business jets and turboprop aircraft.

The current line of Omega PMA approved parts now available at Baker Aviation include popular wheels, brakes, and engine components for King Airs, Beechjets, Citations, Learjets, and other aircraft. Each article is traceable through the FAA database and inspected by Omega’s FAA manufacturing designees to assure it conforms to the FAA-approved design data. In addition, both domestic and export FAA form 8130-3 tags can be provided for each and every FAA approved article

PMA is a combined design and production approval process for modification and replacement articles. It allows a manufacturer to produce and sell these articles for installation on type certificated products.
