Constant Aviation Announces First Ever STC for In-flight Internet for the EMB135LR

Constant Aviation, LLC, a maintenance, repair, and overhaul facility headquartered at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, announces the completion of the Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for Aircell’s^® Cabin Wireless Access Point (CWAP), which provides in-cabin Wi-Fi service for Gogo Biz^™ Inflight Internet for Embraer EMB135LR aircraft.

To date, Constant Aviation has completed the Gogo Biz^™ Inflight Internet STC on the Gulfstream IV, the Embraer 600 and the EMB135 Corporate Shuttle. Constant has five additional STC’s on the Citation X, Beechjet 400A, Hawker 800A/XP/850XP/900XP, Phenom 300, and 737 Business Jet in the final stages of approval with the FAA and has installed the system on over forty (40) aircraft.

Gogo Biz^™ is an affordable solution in business aviation that provides a true high-speed Internet experience that equals what passengers are accustomed to on the ground. It is up to 56 times faster than a traditional dial-up connection, yet it is small and light enough to fit on virtually any business aircraft.
