GAEL AND AVINCIS STRIKE DEAL TO IMPROVE AIRCRAFT INFORMATION MANAGEMENT AND SAFETY

Avincis Mission Critical Services (Avincis) has joined forces with Gael to help improve aerial services for mission critical operations such as medical emergency, search and rescue, fire fighting, coast and city surveillance and the transport of people to remote locations such as oil and gas rigs and wind turbines.

The Group has agreed an initial deal which will see them use Q-Pulse technology to manage safety across its fleet of over 400 fixed wing and rotor aircraft. The deal spans more than 300 Avincis’ operating bases across nine countries, including the UK, Norway, Spain, Australia, Chile, France and Italy.

Gael’s technology will be introduced across the Group’s fleet to provide a common platform for the sharing of safety management system (SMS) information and practice. It will help Avincis deliver operational excellence and achieve its corporate goal of zero accidents.
