Hawker Beechcraft Service Centers Receive FAA’s Diamond Maintenance Awards

Wichita, KS - Hawker Beechcraft Global Customer Support (GCS) announces its factory-owned U.S. service centers have received the Diamond Award from the FAA's Maintenance Technician Program. The eight maintenance centers located in Atlanta, Indianapolis, Houston, San Antonio, Little Rock, Ark.; Tampa, Fla.; Wichita, Kan.; and Mesa, Ariz., met the requirements for the FAA’s highest distinction for excellence in aircraft maintenance training.

“This recognition by the FAA is a testament to the continued commitment and investment we have made in available training for our employees,” said Christi Tannahill, senior vice president, Global Customer Support. “Our employees take great pride in the quality of their work and are dedicated to the ensuring our customers have a world-class aircraft ownership experience.”

In order to achieve the Diamond Award, a facility must have 100 percent of its employees participating in the FAA’s Maintenance Technician Program. Individuals can receive a bronze, silver or gold Award. The awards are based on the number of hours of FAA-approved aviation maintenance training received throughout the year.
