ICG’S Cordless ePhone System Receives Two STCs
Newport News, Va. - International Communications Group (ICG) announces today that its receipt of two STCs from the FAA for its ePhone cordless cabin telephone system. Working with Chicago Jet Group, ICG completed the first STC on a Falcon 900 aircraft and also collaborated with L2 Consulting Services Inc. to complete the requirements for a second STC for the installation of the digital enhanced cordless telephone (DECTtm) device on a Boeing 737-800 operated by a major U.S.-based airline.
The first STC covers the ePhone’s docking station, handset and base unit on the Falcon 900. Chicago Jet Group and ICG are also in the process of completing an STC on a cradle designed for bulkhead installations on a Falcon 50 in anticipation of FAA approval. ICG’s bulkhead cradle was developed as a form and fit replacement to legacy cordless installations that utilizes existing mounting provisions.
In addition to the completion of the STCs on the ePhone components, ICG has also received PMA approval from the FAA for the new ePhone handset, docking station and base unit.
