JDA Helps Spencer Flying Services Obtain 135 Certificate
Bethesda, MD - JDA Aviation Technology Solutions (JDA) announces that Weatherford, OK-based start-up charter operator Spencer Flying Services LLC has obtained its Part 135 certificate after contracting with JDA for its 135 Pro certification support program.
Spencer Flying Services signed its agreement with JDA in December 2011 and achieved certification using 135 Pro in eight months. 135Pro is a Part 135 certification support program designed to simplify the process and lower costs associated with obtaining a Part 135 certificate.
The 135Pro certification support program includes manuals specifically tailored to help new charter operators and corporate flight departments satisfy FAA requirements. A customized, web-based application and document manager enables the owner/operator to store and access all Part 135 requirements and obtain full-time support from the JDA team.
"As a new charter operator with limited resources, we needed to focus on building our business so we turned to JDA, a firm known for its expertise in the 135 certification process and with long experience working with the FAA,” says Gregory Spencer, owner and operator. "As the results showed, JDA offered the best solution to help us get our certificate quickly."
"We are very pleased that Spencer Flying Services obtained its 135 certificate. The JDA 135 team supported Spencer Flying Services throughout the entire certification process, ensuring that all regulatory requirements were met and the process went smoothly and quickly with no disruptions,” said Tom Stuckey, JDA vice president of business and commercial aviation solutions and manager of the 135Pro program.
