Jet Aviation Appointed Exclusive Maintenance Provider for Art Aviation

Jet Aviation and Vienna-based Art Aviation have agreed that Jet Aviation will serve as Art Aviation’s exclusive maintenance provider for the company’s fleet of aircraft.

Art Aviation, a Vienna-based aircraft operator founded in 2012, has appointed Jet Aviation as its exclusive maintenance provider for its fleet of aircraft, currently including two Bombardier Global XRS, two Global 6000, a Boeing BBJ1 and a Dassault Falcon 900Ex and Falcon 7X. Jet Aviation will provide scheduled base maintenance from its maintenance facilities in Basel or Geneva and line maintenance to the fleet from its Moscow Vnukovo facility.

“We are delighted to support the maintenance requirements of Art Aviation’s growing fleet of aircraft,” says Stefan Benz, vice president of Jet Aviation’s MRO and FBO operations, EMEA and Asia. “Our teams of highlytrained professionals are fully committed to meeting the highest safety and quality standards. Jet Aviation has also invested in long-standing relationships with the various OEMs to facilitate our ongoing training with new technologies, as well as ready access to parts.”

Adds Art Aviation managing director Tim Hurworth, “It is important that we have been able to affiliate ourselves with Jet Aviation, who has the experience and capability to serve all of our aircraft types. Art Aviation’s goal is to offer a fully integrated service that is focused on the quality and safety of its flight operations with the preservation of asset value under management. With the established Line Maintenance support offered in Moscow, Jet Aviation has the proven ability to ensure Art Aviation keeps its aircraft operational.

Jet Aviation Moscow Vnukovo and Bombardier have an ongoing agreement to maintain an inventory of critical spare parts at the Moscow facility to help reduce aircraft downtime of Bombardier owners and operators in Russia, particularly during AOG situations.
