Master Aviation Educator accreditation
Gary M Brossett recently earned his Master Aviation Educator (MAE) accreditation from Master Instructors LLC. Master Aviation Educator accreditation recognizes those individuals who work as professional teachers of aviation in industry but who do not necessarily hold FAA instructor certification. Fewer than 700 aviation educators worldwide have achieved one or more of the Master accreditations thus far. The last 15 national Flight Instructors of the Year were Masters while Brossett is one of only 13 Georgia teachers of aviation to earn this prestigious “Master” title.
Brossett is a quality engineer specializing in maintenance and safety systems training at Pratt & Whitney’s Columbus Engine Center. An A&P with IA, he also serves as a FAASTeam representative in the FAA’s Atlanta FSDO area.
