NBAA Welcomes Thomas Hendricks as New NATA President

Washington, D.C. - The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) issued a statement regarding the announcement that former Airlines for America (A4A) senior vice president Thomas L. Hendricks has been selected as the new president for the National Air Transportation Association (NATA).

“We welcome Tom to NATA and the general aviation community,” says NBAA president and CEO Ed Bolen. “NBAA has long enjoyed a tremendous relationship with NATA, and we look forward to continuing that under Tom’s leadership.”

According to a press release issued today by NATA, Hendricks focused on safety, security and operations during his tenure at A4A. He previously worked for Delta Airlines as director of line operations and a chief pilot. He is a retired Air Force Reserve colonel and career fighter pilot.

Hendricks will succeed James Coyne, who has served as NATA president since 1994.
