PATS Aircraft Systems Receives 5th Consecutive FAA Diamond Award

PATS Aircraft Systems announces that it has received the prestigious Diamond Award of Excellence from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), for the fifth consecutive year. The award is recognition of PATS’ commitment to aviation safety through maintenance technician training.

The award requires 100% participation from all eligible employees and reflects the individual and collective commitment to excellence in training at PATS. Each individual employee enrolled in the FAA’s Aviation Maintenance Technician Awards Program was required to complete established levels of recurrent and new training as part of PATS’ rigorous and ongoing training regimen.

To celebrate the momentous milestone achievement, PATS is hosting a celebratory luncheon for its entire staff of over 300 employees and distinguished guests including local and state politicians, as well as the FAA Flight Standards District Office.

PATS’ President and CEO, Mr. John Martin, says, “Our dedicated employees are highly skilled and exceptionally trained year in, and year out, to provide our customers with the highest quality service with uncompromising dedication to safety and accountability.”

PATS is taking the opportunity during the event to also celebrate its dedication to workplace safety after recently recording seven hundred thirty (730) consecutive days without a lost-time accident. Cheryl Parker, PATS’ VP of People, notes, “we strive to make PATS an exciting and fulfilling place to work by offering our employees opportunities such as the training programs that underscore the fifth consecutive FAA Diamond Award. We’re equally proud to create a work environment that surpasses every benchmark for the safety of our employees.”

PATS Aircraft Systems’ Georgetown, Delaware campus includes its FAA Part 145 Repair Station, STC & PMA ODA and aircraft systems manufacturing. PATS is a Boeing authorized BBJ Service Center focused on accommodating aircraft for interior completions, maintenance, modifications and auxiliary fuel tank installations. PATS’ ODA and Engineering Services are also available to support design and certification requirements of each in-house project or additional project work on behalf of its global customers.
