PMA Electric Fuel Pumps

RAPCO, inc. has been awarded Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA) by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for its replacement auxiliary fuel pumps used on Beechcraft King Airs  and Twin Otter series aircraft. These pumps will replace the Airborne models listed below.

RA1D2-12       1D2-12, 1D2-16    King Air 90, 99, 100, & 200 series

RA1D2-13       1D2-1           King Air E90, & 300 series

RA1D2-17       1D2-17, 1D2-14    Twin Otter 100, 200, & 300 series

These FAA approved NEW electric fuel pumps can be used in place of the original Airborne pumps on a part-for-part basis without restriction. RAPCO has improved the rotor and vane design by using high density carbon vanes that  mate with an ANODIZED internal pump cavity. Its nickel-silver commutator design combined with a rare earth magnet material will improve motor efficiency and cold weather starts. RAPCO also improved the inlet screen to help reduce the incidents of foreign object damage.
