Terrafugia Flying Car to Fly at AirVenture!

Is it an aircraft? Is it a car? The correct answer is ... “Yes!”

See the dream of travelers for more than a century — the innovative combination of a vehicle capable of being flown or driven — take another step closer to reality when the Terrafugia Transition® roadable aircraft takes to the roads leading to and the skies over EAA AirVenture Oshkosh!

EAA and Terrafugia announce that the Transition®, which has been displayed as a development prototype at Oshkosh for several years, is scheduled to fly and drive on Wednesday, July 31, at approximately 8 p.m., just prior to sunset and the Rockwell Collins Night Air Show. The Transition® will also be on display at the Terrafugia exhibit throughout the rest of AirVenture week.

Only in Oshkosh will you see the latest innovations in flight like Terrafugia’s Transition® alongside history-making Yves “Jetman” Rossy’s first public flights in the U.S., world-class aerobatics, music rockin’ into the night, camaraderie with your fellow EAA members, and much, much more.
