WESTERN AIRCRAFT ADDS TO AVIONICS AND TURBOPROP SUPPORT TEAM

Western Aircraft, a Greenwich AeroGroup company, announces that it has added Derek Freeman as its Avionics sales manager.

Mr. Freeman will be responsible for the quoting and selling of MRO avionics services to existing and new customers. In addition to his sales duties, he will also serve as Western Aircraft’s avionics engineer.

With more than 30 years in aviation, Mr. Freeman most recently served as a senior avionics engineer for Kelowna Flightcraft and prior to that as facility manager for Triumph Instruments in Burbank. He holds a degree from Harare Polytechnic in Zimbabwe and possesses numerous aircraft avionics and electrical certificates and licenses.

Western Aircraft has also added Jay Reeder as its Turboprop Sales account manager.

Mr. Reeder will be responsible for the quoting and selling of MRO services to existing and new customers by providing quotes and other MRO related service information. Additionally, he will serve as a point of contact for turboprop customer questions and quote inquiries.

Mr. Reeder most recently served as the Material Operations coordinator for EuroTec Vertical Flight Solutions and prior to that vice president of Reeder Flying Service. He holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts from Utah State University and is a licensed single engine aircraft pilot.
