ASI Expands Repair Management Division with New Leadership

Aircraft Specialties, Inc. (ASI) of Omaha, NE, expands its repair management division by bringing on a new manager, Chelse Shaff. Shaff joined the ASI family in February of this year and has since been working to develop the new role for the company. Her position further strengthens ASI’s service that assists customers in sourcing repair services as well as maintenance parts and products.

ASI’s repair management division utilizes the company’s longstanding relationships and purchasing power to deliver cost-effective, expedient solutions for repair and purchasing needs. The company works with industry-leading partners to extend support beyond wheels and brakes. With Shaff's new role as department head, she will use her own industry relationships and knowledge in conjunction with ASI's to source unlimited solutions.

Shaff brings 12 years of industry knowledge and experience, with an extensive background involving full-service logistics, aircraft engine, parts, aircraft maintenance programs, maintenance tracking programs, aircraft parts acquisition and sales, and more. She has spent the last five months working with management to develop and define her role, bringing new and innovative ideas to the table.

Shaff says her vision for the position is to help the company grow its sourcing capabilities to show clients that ASI is much more than a wheel and brake shop. “Our company is known for our amazing customer service," she says, "and we want to provide that same level of service to our clients for all their repair and parts-sourcing needs, not just wheels and brakes."

Director of sales, Gene Portela, says, “Chelse came to our company with high energy and many great ideas. We will continue to collaborate with her in growing this division to a much larger scale. This step will help move us forward in our pursuit to provide a ‘one-call-does-all’ service where our clients can enjoy the same great service no matter what they are looking for.”
