Job Title: Aviation TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled A&P mechanic lead to oversee and guide a team of 2-7 mechanics and technicians on various projects. This role demands self-sufficiency, strong leadership, and technical expertise to ensure projects remain on track. Experience with Embraer aircraft is highly preferred, although Part 121 and 135 experience is not mandatory but highly valued.Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of mechanics and technicians effectively.
  • Perform maintenance and alteration tasks according to current technical data and FAA approved instructions.
  • Ensure all aircraft maintenance records comply with Federal Aviation regulations.
  • Handle multiple tasks and prioritize projects efficiently.
  • Read and follow instructions, and understand procedures, rules, and regulations, including federal and local security regulations.

Essential Skills

  • A&P License
  • Experience in aircraft repair and maintenance
  • Supervisory skills
  • Familiarity with Embraer aircraft
  • Ability to perform inspections and handle jet maintenance tasks

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education
  • Successful completion of a comprehensive back ground check
  • U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the United States
  • Sheet metal fabrication skills
