Brown Aviation Tool Supply introduces a new tool to its line, the Collar Claw® Collar Removal Pliers. The new, patented collar removal pliers are a revolutionary new way to easily remove Hi-Lok-style frangible collars.

No more awkward angles! The pliers fit over the collar from the top like a socket, leaving plenty of clearance between adjacent fasteners and providing easier access in situations where a mechanic would need to use a hex key with non-interference fit fasteners. The tool works with -5,-6, and -8 aluminum, steel and titanium collars. The handles are comfort-grip dipped, and the patented cam-action jaws deliver plenty of gripping power with just one hand.
