ABOUT THE ROLE
As Chief Engineer, you are responsible for assisting the Director of Maintenance in all facets of the maintenance operation. Working closely with the other Chief Engineer, in addition to your regular duties as a licensed Rotary Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (A.M.E.), you will be responsible for the supervision, training and guidance of maintenance personnel, monitoring work of other AMErsquo;s, forecasting and planning maintenance projects, coordinating activities between maintenance and flight ops, mentoring and leading apprentices and other staff, and all other duties associatied with the day to day running of the maintenance department.
THE FINE PRINT
While this position is primarily based in Boundary Bay, frequent travel to our other maintenance facilities, particularly Pemberton, will be required on a regular basis. The Company is flexible on performance in terms of type of schedule: rotational (i.e. 2/2), regular Monday to Friday, or compressed days such as 4 tens.

Requirements: 

YOU ARE

  • Canadian licensed AME. Endorsements on EC135 and AS350 are definite assets.
  • In depth knowledge of maintenance operations with a minimum of 8 years of senior AME experience
  • Ability to analyze problems with excellent decision-making abilities
  • Highly professional with a proven track record of maintaining excellent relationships with co-workers and/or subordinates. While previous senior management-level experience is an asset, it is not required.
  • Committed to delivering results and working effectively in a large group.
  • Legally entitled to work within Canada
