For 35 years, Blackcomb Helicopters has been one of the leading helicopter operators in the Pacific Northwest. We are a full-service helicopter company with bases in Boundary Bay, Squamish, Whistler, Pemberton, Lillooet, Terrace, and Springbank, Alberta.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As Chief Engineer, you are responsible for assisting the Director of Maintenance in all facets of the maintenance operation. Working closely with the other Chief Engineer, in addition to your regular duties as a licensed Rotary Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (A.M.E.), you will be responsible for the supervision, training and guidance of maintenance personnel, monitoring work of other AMErsquo;s, forecasting and planning maintenance projects, coordinating activities between maintenance and flight ops, mentoring and leading apprentices and other staff, and all other duties associatied with the day to day running of the maintenance department.
THE FINE PRINT
While this position is primarily based in Boundary Bay, frequent travel to our other maintenance facilities, particularly Pemberton, will be required on a regular basis. The Company is flexible on performance in terms of type of schedule: rotational (i.e. 2/2), regular Monday to Friday, or compressed days such as 4 tens.
