CINO Token Pursues Major Exchange Listings Amid Growing Interest from Aviation Professionals

CINO Token, based in New York, applies to list on several cryptocurrency exchanges, including Coinbase. The applications were made online during the first week of October, following events including the Professional Aviation Maintenance Association golf outing, where the CINO Token team spoke with over 100 people in aviation and gathered ideas for expanding use of the token. The listings aim to raise the number of trades, which could encourage more aircraft owners and MRO companies to adopt the token for settling invoices.

Ryan Cino, a corporate aircraft mechanic with more than 25 years in the business, launched the project to simplify payments for services like 96-month inspections or fixes when aircraft are grounded. The token uses the Solana blockchain for transfers that finish in seconds around the clock, avoiding the delays of wire transfers or the 3 percent fees from credit cards. Some partnered maintenance, repair and overhaul companies (MROs) also provide discounts of up to 10 percent, a significant savings on large invoices.

Other aviation companies have begun accepting cryptocurrency for aircraft sales or flight bookings, and the blockchain market in this field is expected to rise from $1.16 billion this year to $5.53 billion by 2034, with growth near 19 percent yearly. A McKinsey report from this year notes that up to 15 percent of airline payments globally could shift to cryptocurrency.

The market for business jets is set to grow from $48.13 billion this year to $67.68 billion by 2032, with yearly increases of about 5 percent. The aviation MRO market, at $73.7 billion now, could hit $135.2 billion by 2034, growing 7 percent each year. With delays from old payment methods costing airlines around $60 billion yearly worldwide, blockchain records could help make transactions clear and traceable.

Marketing for the token, including a collaboration with an influencer who reaches 1.5 million people in cryptocurrency, has helped add and engage wallet holders. Users can track the token with the blockchain address BUUB7DpQT1mcTrs55oXawgEbxm5khAozsbmyhMdRpump and hold it in tools like the Phantom wallet.

The CINO Token team is exploring new app developers to support the token, while also running the Cino Legacy Podcast on YouTube, covering aviation finance and building wealth across generations. Aviation workers can follow on social media or vote daily on CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko to raise awareness.

Future plans for the company include creating more partnerships with MRO companies and fuel providers for handling larger payments.
