Dallas Airmotive Offers Pratt & Whitney Canada’s PT6A Flat Rate Overhaul Program

Dallas Airmotive, a BBA Aviation Global Engine Services company, announces that it now offers a PT6A Flat Rate Overhaul Program as part of Pratt & Whitney Canada’s (P&WC) PT6SMARTSM Maintenance Solutions initiative. P&WC’s PT6A Flat Rate Overhaul Program is a limited time, industry-wide program available through its designated overhaul facilities (DOFs) that sets a fixed-rate pricing structure for overhauls on PT6A-21, -27, -28, -41, -42, and -114 engine models.

“We know that customers are looking for ways to reduce their maintenance costs and increase the value of their aircraft investment,” says Mark Stubbs, Dallas Airmotive chief commercial officer. “By offering P&WC’s Flat Rate Overhaul Program through Dallas Airmotive, customers can get a guaranteed low price and still receive Dallas Airmotive’s industry-leading PT6A expertise, quality, and service.”

Dallas Airmotive was the first independent maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) provider to receive authorization on the PT6A in 1964. In 2014, the company celebrated the 50th year of authorization and announced that it had transformed its former Regional Turbine Center (RTC), located on Dallas-Love Field airport, into a state-of-the art facility dedicated to the repair and overhaul of PT6A engines.

“Our facility at Love Field was designed specifically for the PT6A and delivering fast turn times,” says Stubbs. “With our PT6A expertise and centralized location in the United States, we are in a great position to offer some of the fastest turnaround times in the industry.”
