
Dennis Wetjens Appointed Managing Director of EPCOR

After four years heading up several of KLM E&M's aircraft hangar maintenance divisions, Dennis Wetjens takes up his new position as managing director at EPCOR, the Air France Industries KLM E&M subsidiary specializing in the repair and maintenance of pneumatic systems and auxiliary power units (APUs). He takes over from Romain Helmer, now AFI KLM E&M VP Sales, Europe & Key Accounts.
A graduate of both Dutch Eindhoven University of Technology and Business Universiteit Nyenrode, Dennis Wetjens started out in 2006 as a management trainee within KLM. After his traineeship he joined the Ground Services division, being responsible for both KLM's departure and arrival processes at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. After two years Dennis started at KLM E&M as operations manager before heading to Wide Body C-/D-checks and cabin modifications, and later Wide Body A-checks. While holding these aircraft maintenance positions he led several complex organizational and productivity programs.
