Flying Colours Corp. Hits Global Heights at NBAA

Troy Funk, vice president Technical Services of Flying Colours Corp., KSUS, accepts the Bombardier Business Aircraft's Authorised Service Facility Excellence Award in the North American category during a presentation ceremony at the Bombardier booth at this year’s NBAA. Along with president John Gillespie, he accepts the award on behalf of his team at the Chesterfield-St. Louis, MO, facility.
Bombardier Business Aircraft also awards the Peterborough headquarters with heavy Authorized Service Facility (ASF) status to work on Global 5000 and Global 6000 models. The existing Peterborough and St. Louis ASF agreement covers work undertaken on Bombardier Learjet and Challenger types and has been renewed for a further five years at both locations.
In addition, INAIRVATION, the joint venture between Lufthansa Technik and F/LIST that develops business jet cabin solutions, announces that Flying Colours Corp. is one of three partners that has been selected to install its pre-engineered integrated cabin retrofit solutions on Bombardier Global Express/5000/6000 aircraft. It is the only North American company to have been chosen.
“It’s been a truly memorable NBAA for Flying Colours Corp.,” says Sean Gillespie, VP Flying Colours Corp. “We’ve worked extremely hard to achieve the Global ASF status and that has been brilliantly complemented by the INAIRVATION announcement. We’re also extremely proud to win the North American ASF award following the renewal of our ASF status at both facilities. It stands testament to the hard work of the team and all those involved with Flying Colours Corp.”
