Machida sponsors this year’s Aerospace Maintenance Competition (AMC) at MRO Americas 2016, held at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, TX, from April 5-7.

Machida will be testing 250 technicians from all over the globe on their ability to find and remove FOD from a staged environment using Machida's VSC-3-65C video borescope with working channel. With the assistance of its specially designed mechanical fingers and 6mm guide, one person from each team will have to retrieve the FOD within the time frame allotted. Machida will provide prizes to the best FOD removal team.

The C-series scopes, like the VSC-3-65C, are designed to allow engine operators to view and retrieve FOD with ease. When paired with Machida's DPU 7-7070, the VSC-3-65C offers features such as picture-in-picture, enhanced zoom, HD digital images and video, and, of course, the ability to remove FOD without having to take the engine off wing.
