NATA and Its Members Unite to Support Our Nation’s Veterans

The National Air Transportation Association (NATA) announces the donation of more than $28,000 to veterans’ organizations raised through the 2015 NATA Flag Pins for Veterans Project. NATA and its members launched the project in 2014 to expand support of our nation’s veterans and have raised nearly $60,000 since its inception. Donations from this year’s project will once again support the Veterans Airlift Command and the Medal of Honor Foundation.

“I sincerely thank all who participate in this project as well as those who provide for our veterans through other means. Our members’ sense of community and spirit of generosity in supporting our veterans is tremendous, and I couldn’t be more proud,” says NATA president Tom Hendricks.

NATA’s Flag Pins for Veterans Project is an initiative that begins in May surrounding Memorial Day and continues through Veterans Day. NATA members may participate by displaying flag pins in their operations areas for donations or by making a direct donation to the project fund. More details on NATA’s Flag Pins for Veterans Project can be found at www.nata.aero/veterans.
