Cutter Aviation Expands in Georgetown, TX, with Purchase of GTU Jet

Cutter Aviation announces the purchase of GTU Jet FBO at Georgetown Municipal Airport (GTU) in Texas. The acquisition of GTU Jet follows the purchase of AeroJet in Dec. 2021, increasing the company’s footprint in Georgetown Executive Airport to 152,000 square feet of hangar space for based clients and transient traffic and 34,588 square feet of FBO and office space, including conference rooms, pilot lounge with snooze room, flight-planning area, crew car and concierge service.

“Georgetown is one of the fastest-growing counties in the country with some of the largest companies in the world moving to the area,” says Will Cutter, president and CEO of Cutter Aviation. “We are very proud to have the opportunity to be involved in the town’s growth and to be able to generate jobs while providing first-class FBO services to our clients and visitors.”

Georgetown Executive Airport, located within Williamson County, is a strategic location just 30 miles north of downtown Austin, TX, making it a great spot for clients traveling cross-country to stop and refuel.

Cutter Aviation is the oldest family-owned FBO in the world. Born into general aviation, fourth-generation Will D. Cutter is the new location’s regional manager of Texas. He can be reached at 480-458-7237 or by email at wdcutter@cutteraviation.com.
