Dallas Avionics Hires Industry Veteran Shannon Vanderhoof

Dallas Avionics announces the addition of Shannon Vanderhoof to its team as technical sales representative. Vanderhoof will primarily assist customers on the West Coast of the United States and help provide technical support where needed.
"I have worked with Shannon a long time," says Dallas Avionics Law Enforcement and EMS Business Development manager, Kenny Hall. “He is respected in the industry, is good at what he does, and will be a great asset to the team.”
"I have worked with Dallas Avionics indirectly for 20 years as an avionics professional," says Vanderhoof. "I am excited to join their dynamic team and network. I have witnessed first-hand their ability to care for customers. Their wide array of products, extensive customer service and sales network allows the company to serve customers on both fixed-wing and rotorcraft aircraft. I have experience with both and look forward to serving Dallas Avionics' customers."
Vanderhoof's avionics career spans almost 30 years, including five years with the United States Navy. Before joining Dallas Avionics, he served as the service engineer manager for Air Methods Corporation, was an electrical engineer for United Rotorcraft, and was in other avionics roles for various companies. He has worked on fixed-wing and rotorcraft airframes, specifically on Bell 407, Bell 429, EC 130, EC 135, EC 145, AS350, Blackhawks, and various Cessna aircraft.
"I have worked with avionics by troubleshooting issues, installing new avionics, performing upgrades, working with documentation, and ensuring aircraft comply with FAA requirements. I had eight engineers working for me to oversee the care of the world's largest air-medical company before joining Dallas Avionics," Vanderhoof continues.
"The fact that Shannon has worked with numerous aircraft on integrations, compliance, engineering, avionics, wiring, engines, flight controls and other critical aircraft systems is vital to the vision of Dallas Avionics' vision to serve customers," says sales manager Scott Edwards. "His extensive knowledge will enable him to help customers troubleshoot issues, identify product needs, and assure their operations have what they need to succeed. We are excited to grow the Dallas Avionics team by adding such an experienced aviation professional."
