DFW Aviation, LLC Announces New Test-Set Approval

DFW Instrument, LLC, a DFW Aviation company, announces the approval of its air-data test-set for the Bombardier CRJ series of aircraft. The UNIV-20-40 is designed to overcome common challenges in performing the functional test on the safety/pressure relief valves.

The test-set is highly accurate and easy to use. Reading in PSI, the unit starts on zero at field elevation. The procedure is very fast and not limited to rate-of-climb as a pitot/static test set would be. The average test time is 8 to 10 minutes.

“The addition of the CRJ fleet expands our reach into the regional airline market. This same test-set has been supporting ATR operators in Europe since late 2017, after an airworthiness directive was issued by EASA. We are very excited about the continued growth of this product line and expect additional approvals in the regional and commercial market in the near future,” says Josh Abelson, chief executive officer.
