Coastal Aircraft Services is expanding and seeking a Director of Avionics to lead our new avionics division. This is a unique opportunity to build and manage a department from the ground up while working on a variety of aircraft including King Airs, Pilatus, piston twins and singles.
Responsibilities:
- Estimate, plan, execute, and lead avionics installations, troubleshooting, and repairs
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and safety standards
- Collaborate with technicians and customers to deliver high-quality service
- Develop and grow an avionics team
- Support overall shop operations and strategic planning
Requirements:
- A&P License required
- Strong avionics installation and repair experience across the spectrum of GA from piston singles to twin turbines
- Leadership and team-building skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
