Eagle Aviation, LLC. located in the beautiful Black Hills is seeking an A P/IA to join our team at the Black Hills Airport (SPF) in Spearfish, SD. We are looking for the right individual who will fit well with our current A P and apprentice. Willing to train and assist an A P with aspirations in obtaining their IA license.
Responsibilities:

  • Ordering parts, managing the shop, and working closely with office staff to complete work orders
  • Driven, dedicated, and committed to skilled craftsmanship and customer satisfaction
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Utilize mechanical knowledge and hand tools to troubleshoot and repair aircraft systems.
  • Conduct assembly and disassembly of aircraft components, ensuring proper airframe and powerplant functionality.
  • Utilize avionics skills to diagnose and repair electrical systems on aircraft.
  • Apply knowledge of vehicle maintenance to ensure the safe and efficient operation of aircraft.
  • Adhere to aviation industry standards and best practices in all maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, and micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines to ensure accurate repairs and installations.
  • Safely perform heavy lifting tasks as required during maintenance and repair activities.
  • Uphold a high standard of quality and safety in all work performed.

Requirements:

  • Airframe Powerplant (A P) License
  • Inspection Authorization (IA)
  • Experience working on various types of General, Corporate, and Commercial Aircraft
  • Small piston and Light Multi-Engine experience
