Duncan Aviation Expands Team and Service Hours for Component Repair Services

Duncan Aviation extends customer service hours and adds three new Component CARs (customer account reps) to accommodate repair service calls after hours. The addition of a fourth rep is anticipated by the end of 2020.

Crystal Osmera, Component CAR team leader, understands the value of having a service call answered by a live person instead of a recording. “We have customers located all across the United States," she says. "And they all want their component service needs met without having to leave a message and then wait for a callback.”

2019 was a year of growth for Duncan Aviation’s Component Repair Services, and six months into 2020 with an international pandemic, things haven’t slowed it down. Many aircraft operators and parts brokers are taking advantage of this downtime to address essential maintenance to ensure the aircraft accessory and avionics components are flight-ready when flying resumes.

Osmera admits the call volume in the evening can be low at times, but this opens up the opportunity for CARs to complete transactions already in progress. “We operate as a team and work together to provide seamless support to our customers no matter where they are located or when they call.”

Duncan Aviation is also offering a summer loaner program. Now through the end of August, all recertification fees will be waived on a select number of units when they are sent in for repair to the Duncan Aviation Component Repair shop. Restrictions apply. To get more information about the free loaner program, call 1 800.562.6377, Option 2, to speak to a Duncan Aviation Component customer account rep.

All component repair service calls to 1 800.562.6377 will be answered by a Duncan Aviation CAR between the hours of 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. Central Standard Time.
