Duncan Aviation’s Lincoln and Provo Facilities Complete Gulfstream 650 144-month Inspections

Duncan Aviation announces that it has completed two more inspections on Gulfstream G650 aircraft. These simultaneous 144-month inspections were successfully completed at the company’s maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facilities in Lincoln, NE, and Provo, UT.
Client Matthew Benns, a director of maintenance, was on-site in Provo several times during the 144-month inspection of his G650 and noted the communication with the staff was both friendly and highly professional. He is already planning the next maintenance input with another G650.
“The level of client interaction was excellent — among the best I have seen at any MRO. I felt that my priorities as a client were genuinely listened to and understood. We were able to have open and honest discussions, with consistent focus on maintaining safety and ensuring the principal’s expectations were met,” says Benns.
All of Duncan Aviation’s MRO facilities (Battle Creek, MI, as well as Lincoln and Provo) are fully equipped to support the G650, offering the specialized tooling, expansive hangar space, and dedicated Gulfstream teams required for the aircraft's level of maintenance. Technicians at every location are factory-trained at FlightSafety and have hands-on experience performing comprehensive inspections.
The 144-month inspection is one of the most in-depth maintenance events in an aircraft’s lifecycle. It involves removing all exterior access panels, the complete interior, and the landing gear — essentially giving technicians full access to inspect and evaluate the aircraft from nose to tail. Because of this level of access, many operators take advantage of the downtime to invest in upgrades, including interior refurbishments, fresh exterior paint schemes, and enhancements to the cabin.
Long-time Duncan Aviation customer and accountable manager of Sybajet, Lee Noble, did just that.
“We had some work related to an exterior paint project that was completed earlier in Provo, and we needed to come back to Duncan Aviation for that. The Provo facility wasn't available during our schedule. Rather than make the trip from the United Arab Emirates twice and have the aircraft down longer than necessary, we decided to perform the inspection here (in Lincoln) at the same time,” says Noble. “I love Duncan Aviation, and I’ve been to all three of the MRO facilities for paint, interior refurb, warranty work, and now the 144-month inspection. I’ll openly push for people to bring their aircraft to Duncan Aviation. The company has the technical expertise, does high-quality work, and is typically on schedule and on budget.”
All of Duncan Aviation’s MRO facilities have completed G650 interior refurbishments, and the company’s facilities in Lincoln and Provo have delivered striking new paint schemes, helping operators modernize and personalize their aircraft. In addition, Duncan Aviation’s on-site Design Centers offer expert guidance from professional designers who collaborate with clients to create custom interiors and exterior finishes tailored to their vision.
