Duncan Aviation Welcomes Maria Maruna to Aircraft Sales and Acquisitions Team

Duncan Aviation announces the addition of Maria Maruna to its Aircraft Sales and Acquisitions team. Maruna brings more than 14 years of global aviation experience across MRO sales, completions and international business development, with a focus on high-level client relationships and cross-border transactions.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Maria to the Duncan Aviation team,” says Ryan Huss, executive vice president of Sales at Duncan Aviation. “Maria brings extensive aviation experience and a deep understanding of multiple markets, and her experiences and skillset will be of tremendous value to our team and our clients. Maria’s proven track record in business development, completions, and cross-border transactions makes her a great addition as we continue to expand the Duncan Aviation Aircraft Sales and Acquisitions team. We’re excited to see the impact she’ll have as she brings her expertise and passion to serve our clients.”

Before joining Duncan Aviation, Maruna held key leadership roles in the industry, including sales director for Russia/CIS and Israel at Jet Aviation in Basel, Switzerland, and later at ACC Columbia in Germany through her own consulting company in Switzerland. She also served as sales director for Completions at Citadel Completions in Louisiana, specializing in ACJs and BBJs for international clientele.

Maruna began her aviation career as a VVIP flight attendant in Austria and Russia, where she cultivated a deep passion for private aviation, design, and cross-cultural engagement. She holds a bachelor’s degree in nutritional sciences and a certificate in interpretation, offering verbal translation in Russian and English. A native speaker of both Russian and German, she is especially adept at navigating international negotiations and customer support. Now based in Miami, she is excited to represent Duncan Aviation. She looks forward to continuing her work supporting clients across the globe with a personal, professional and culturally attuned approach.

Outside of aviation, Maruna is an avid tennis player and enthusiast who enjoys attending premier tournaments around the world.
