EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2025
From July 21-27, hundreds of thousands of aviation enthusiasts will gather in Oshkosh, WI for EAA AirVenture 2025. Dubbed “The World’s Greatest Aviation Celebration,” AirVenture has it all when it comes to aircraft. Warbirds. Vintage. Homebuilts. Ultralights. Some you would normally find in a hangar at your local airport, others so unique they are the only one of their kind.
EAA AirVenture is taking place this week. According to EAA, last year’s EAA AirVenture 2024 broke records with 686,000 attendees, more than 10,000 aircraft, and 861 exhibitors participating in last year’s celebration! There were plenty of people walking around the AirVenture grounds this year. Camp Scholler and aircraft parking were packed. I'm guessing this will be another successful year for AirVenture — possible breaking last year's record!.
If you’ve never been to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, you don’t know what you’re missing. This year was my 24th time attending the show. Every year brings something new and exciting for me and the hundreds of thousands of visitors that flock to Oshkosh for this annual aviation event.
My favorite event last year was Wednesday night’s drone show by Starlight Aerial Productions. I wasn't able to go to the night airshow yesterday, but I was able to watch a live stream of it. It was amazing! If you're not attending AirVenture this year, you may want to log in to https://www.eaa.org/airventure/live. In fact, you can visit that page to see what's going on at AirVenture through Sunday, with multiple live feeds from the AirVenture grounds including the Seaplane Base.
I would encourage you to take your kids to AirVenture. Admission is FREE for everyone 18 and under! I took a video of the EAA Youth Welcome Center, where Laura walked us around the tent to see some of the activities they have for kids of all ages. You can view the video HERE.
If you’ve never been to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, I would highly encourage you to do so. You can learn more by visiting eaa.org/airventure.
